I just finished putting together this car for my 18 month old. It was a nightmare. It comes in 50 or more pieces, which aren’t labeled or are labeled incorrectly. The instructions (30 steps) leave much to be desired. Very hard to tell which part it was referencing and there wasn’t any text describing how to do anything. The whole thing only takes 10 screws, but 8 of those don’t have predrilled holes and none of them were in an easy place to install. I think my son will love it, but due to the assembly process I’d only reccommend it to my most hated enemies. No wonder no one buys American if this is the quality you’re going to get.

GREATEST THING SINCE BREAST MILK
my nine month old grandson is SOOOOO HAPPY with his gift from across the country. GREAT TOY, GREAT SHIPPING, the floor board attachment is priceless.
This took 2 1/2 hours to put together, when we finally thought we were finished we found out the front wheels were on backwards and that we could not take them back off again to fix them. This car has been a nightmare. I would recommend buying something that is easier to assemble.

In love
My grandson is in love with his “beautiful” red car. Sat in it for hours. Now spends his time pushing it as fast as his 2 yr old feet can go!

Don’t do it!
This car comes in about 50 parts with poor directions. It was a beast for my husband to put together! It tips easily.

Grampa Mike
We bought this toy for our kids, 25 years ago, now their kids are playing on it. It is one of 3 toys that have lasted that long.

My 5 year old twins love this car
I don’t know why we didn’t get this sooner, but my husband got this for my son when they went shopping together.

Great toy!
My 2-year old daughter loves this toy. She thinks the eyes are so funny and she loves to sit in it and try to move it around.

A pain to put together, and their support sucks
My parents bought this for my son, who admittedly does love it. But the thing is a nightmare to put together (especially the six red caps that go over the exposed metal rods)…

My grandson LOVES It.
Like I said, my grandson loves it! They only thing I can say bad is, it is a little hard to put together. I knew this before I bought it, by reading other reviews.

FYI new version appears to be smaller
The new improved 30th edition is slightly smaller compared to our family friends older one. The dimensions online appears to confirm this.

Worth the elbow grease!
This car is super cute and my one-and-a-half-year-old son absolutely LOVES it. Be forewarned this car takes a while to put together: it literally took me about 2 hours from start…

No sooner did I put this together (which was very difficult) a piece fell apart leaving behind exposed metal. I called the company and they said to cut the piece off with metal cutters and they’d send me a new piece. Real pain in the neck! And how long till the other caps fall apart?
