How To Remove Little Tikes Car Wheels?
We incorrectly assembled a Little Tikes car. The front wheels were installed backwards, with the metal support for the left wheel installed on the right and vice-versa. The metal supports are hammered in, and it’s almost impossible to pull them out. There are little clefts that could possibly allow a hammer end to pry them out, but because of the wheels it’s impossible to get enough leverage. Any ideas on how to get those metal wheel supports out so we can put them into the right spots?
For the record I’m really annoyed that Little Tikes can’t use screws and nuts like everyone else.

I put my wheels on backwards too. I worked at it for a while and I even tried to google an answer. NO LUCK! Here is the answer folks! I got so frustrated that I heated the metal ring with a candle lighter…once the metal was warm it was very flexible. I easily pryed it off with a flat top screwdriver. Careful not to burn the plastic car! Good Luck.

I’d probably try to take back to the store, or call first and speak to a customer service member or a manager. That can really be annoying…it sounds like you cannot dismantle it to put it back correctly, I believe the store will honor that. It doesn’t hurt to try, also the box should have a cust.srvc number…or try online? anyways best of luck!!
